About Us
We started dreaming about sailing around the world in December 2019 while on a 10 day bareboat charter in the British Virgin Islands. Over the next 12 months, Wendy would retire and Peter would sell his business. The family home, furniture, vehicles and most of the possessions would be sold. Pinecone would be built and delivered to Ft. Lauderdale, Florida in October, 2021. Commissioning took place over the next several months and we moved aboard full time January 2, 2022. We departed Florida for the Bahamas in March, 2022 and have been sailing ever since.
Pinecone is an Outbound 46, hull # 76.
Nutty, is a Highfield 310 inflatable RIB dinghy with a 15hp Yamaha 4 stroke outboard engine.
